Sounds like something one of my neighbors would do (they weren't happy about us getting chickens, they even got the Town involved). That's why we have master locks on the egg boxes and the door.

I hate reading this stuff, especially because these kinds of people have no realisation of how delicate and sweet these animals are. They bring more to the world than people like this and have more of a personality. Typical low self esteem guys looking for something weaker than them to make themselves feel powerful.

I read about that on the internet (Fox.news) Something about an ex husband(or boyfriend) wanted to get even with his ex. I think he savaged her animals then was so excited he went on to kill random birds in the neighborhood. As my friend, would say,
"Some folks need killin' "

They were probably problem children to begin with, and should have been exterminated then. It seems like some kids are inately bad from the get go and can't be rehabilitated. Some have no shame revealing their dark side, while others are clever and keep in under wraps until something triggers them. How sad.

They shouldn't be allowed to reach adulthood from the get-go and should be culled right away. That's worse than allowing a mean rooster to sire a bunch of nasty offspring with bad genes, only to continue the reign of terror.
