Someone found a chicken and gave it to me

The new addition is extremely nervous and doesnt go near the hens, my little hen attacked it when she seen it and another hen kind of gives off a growl and puffs out with her wings down. Oh no now i feel sad i cant keep roosters in my suburban area, and the person who done this to the poor thing is just pure evil and cruel.

Quarantine this bird in a dog crate. Whoever did this to him obviously doesn’t care much for him. He could be sick. Did you check him for mites?

Agree, people who do this should be nowhere near animals. Wonder how much they would like to be plucked, cut ad treated like that?

In the first picture of the bird it looks like it has spurs, but on closer inspection of the other pictures you can clearly see that the “spur” is in fact a toe with a a toenail.
