Hello everyone,
This is my first time posting. I am very new to raising chickens so forgive me if this seems like a ridiculous question.
We were given 4 baby chickens from a friend who told as that they were SLW. From everything that I have read I am starting to think that they are crossed with something else.
My concern (and frustration lol) is that I can’t figure out the sex of two of them.
At first I immediately thought they must be boys because the other two girls feathers came through very quickly (we lost one of them :( )
But now I have no idea if they are boys because they are almost six weeks old and they have no crop/ wattle formation or colour. From what I have researched there should be something by now?
Either way they have a home but I will need to alter our chicken coop to accommodate two roosters.

In the Introduction section, you receive valuable information about posting on the forum to get the most quickest response.
Your caption, "Someone help please!", indicated you had an emergency. Therefore, I am glad to read it was about sexing your chicks.
But, what I can see you have some pretty babies there. They are a bit young to definitely say for sure but, they look like pullets as of right now.
Contact us again when they are about 8-10 weeks. Read how to post the pictures needed for the maximum assistance for accuracy and give detailed information if you can.
A helpful suggestion when needed to have your chicks sexed, please go to the
What Breed Or Gender is This? Tab
If and when you have an emergency, you can title it they way you did, but list it under the Diseases/Emergency/Injury/Cures tab.

Hope this information helps you get the answers to your questions efficiently.

Welcome to BYC.
