Someone please help

UPDATE on MR. Jack. I took him to the vet today and he checked him out really well!!! He said there were no fractures, breaks, fluid his legs looks good. He thinks that since he has had the limp since he was little that him getting sick with the respiratory infection weakened his leg since it was already weak. He gave me antibiotics and thinks that with the healing of the infection that his leg will get better as well. We just have to give him the meds and wait he said. So, that's where we stand at this point.

Kudos for taking him to the vet and finding one that will see poultry. I'm curious what antibiotic the vet prescribed.

Mr.Jack had a set back today. I had somewhere I had to go today so, I sat him in the pen beside his water and food. I didn't think anything about him squirming away from his water. When we got home which was around 3 hours later that's exactly what had happened. He squirmed away from his water and was struggling to breath so bad. I really thought he was going to die. I brought him in my house, it was so hot here today. I brought him in and cried gave him some water he drank but he was struggling so bad to breath. So, now I feel like we are back at square one. He has been taking his meds for 3 days now he is supposed to take it for 7 days. The name of the medicine is Baytril. Should I keep him inside in the air conditioning or let him stay in the coop? its much cooler out now and a breez.

With a broken heart my final update is MR. Jack passed away Friday night. Its almost unbearable. I will miss him deeply. I cant help but blame myself for his bad day Fri. that I think led to him dying. My husband says he didn't think he would have made it because he was real sick. I still blame myself. I will always wonder if it wasn't for Fri. would he have lived. I am so hurt. My husband says that's the things that happen when your raising chickens. I said I understand that but, its different when you raise them for pets and not just for the eggs. When you love them its different.
