Thankfully no more have died, that I know of, and the ich treatment seems to have worked I still need to bring the temps back down, but will be doing that very slowly. Thank you for asking!

How is your tank doing? Does Niven have her belly fur back yet?

I have a 50 gallon tank in my shed and was thinking about getting some more fish but multiple kinds. Any suggestions you guys think also would a betta fish be cool to have just for my desk while I work?

Betta fish do well on their own in a smallish tank.

Guppies are good mollies are also a livebearer which are fun.

Hmm. A lot of people do that but a filtered tank is better for them.

The betta will love a larger tank than a betta bowl. I know, lots of people keep them in small containers and they live “good” lives, but they really would benefit from at least a 2.5gal tank.
In my 55 I have cory’s, yoyo’s, amano shrimp, different tetra, celebes rainbows, ottos, guppies and flying fox. Keep medicine in mind though. Thats something I wasnt aware of when I started this one. Bottom dwellers and most tetra don’t tolerate any type of salt and cannot take a full dose of certain meds.
