The chicken has had it for some time now maybe a month I though it would fall off.

Anyone know what it is or what I can do?

Can you post the full image, instead of just the thumbnail.
It's very hard to see.

Is it hard?

Welcome to BYC.
This should help you find your way around:

I've never seen anything like it.
Hopefully someone with more knowledge will be along soon to help you.
Is taking her to a vet an option?
Is she eating and drinking well?

yes very healthy bird from all I can see eats and drinks fine
She is still laying eggs not sure if it was hers but I did find a few eggs with corrugated or wavy all over them but not everyday sometime the eggs where normal looking.
I first thought it was tree sap and poop got stuck to her but that is not the case.
it seems to be growing from her skin.

Hmm, my turkey had a benign tumor like this (but it was pink) in her wing-pit. I didn't notice it for quite some time, and it was almost golf-ball sized!

Have you bathed the area to fully expose sand explorer the boundaries of the growth and get a good feel for it? Is there any odor? Is the mass soft or hard?

And does the mass feel as though it is free floating or does it feel attached to internal structures?

Benign growths/cysts generally are encapsulated and easily moved around and unanchored. Malignancies are generally anchored and unable to be moved.

Is her weight holding or is she loosing weight? Generally with tumors or malignancies, the appetite it increased but the weight decreases.
