Something inside my egg! (Other than the white and yolk)

I've sometimes found small bits of what's basically "shell" inside eggs from pullets that have just started laying, though it's been rare. They're small, rough pieces, just inside the shell. Just pick it out like you would a piece of shell that dropped in while you were cracking the egg, if that's what you found.

So I think the thing in my egg was a "meat spot"... a small piece of membrane from the oviduct. Thanks for all of your help!
