Something is wrong with my Duck Help!

As of a week to a few days ago, my mallard duck is either losing her feathers or they're turnin white with like a blackish type thing to it, sort of hypnotic, I'm not sure if she is molting yet. But I've noticed some green coming in around her eyes as well.

She was under the truck, she hates it when I get near her!















Hope She will be okay! She seems fine just her feathers are either coming out or turning that way and they do not look like feathers at all. Please help!

I am relatively new to ducks, but that looks like a molt to me.

I thought ducks had to be up to like .. a year or so to molt?


They're like doing something like this feather below. Except without the brown, I do not think my other duck is doing this. My other duck is a Khaki Campbel.

Her head is now getting more green, does this mean that she is a he?

Yes!! She is gonna be a beautiful drake.(male)wont be long and he will be getting his drake feathers.I love mine.

OH MY GOSH! I been wanting a Drake I just hope, my other duck stays female ~ Hes so small though O_O but then again he is like 3 months old nearly 4. I think ~.~ sleepy lol. Got him on may 11 or 10. LOL My memory isn't well My other duck's feathers seem to be intact. Do Drakes molt before the females or something? Early or something like that X3

I have another duck would they molt at the same time? I really hope I have one male one female I'd love to have some little ducklings what are the ways to tell if I have a drake, or a female?

Also I can see some white area's around his neck.

Waddles my other duck, all brown khaki campbell, ( 1 footed) I'm not sure if she is molting yet I will have to catch her in the morning and look at her to see if she is, and I'll take another picture of Duckie
