What type of food are you feeding him?

His usual diet is just turkey crumble and some spinach/kale. This past week however, they ate a lot of steel cut oats and scratch grains, as well as flax seeds that were put out for our chickens. I did notice today, however, that on the bag of kale and spinach, lemon juice is listed as an ingredient and I know citrus is bad for them. We won't be feeding it anymore, of course, but could that be the cause? And no, I'm not adding any niacin to their diet as of right now. I just read about it today :( how can I add it to their diet?

Get B Complex Liquid seems work fast on ducklings that are showing symptoms such as neurological or leg issues. Not that this is what it is a niacin def. but heck sure worth trying. Read this link it gives you 2 choices on B complex Tiny amounts of spinach isn't harmful but just small amounts at a time. Mine eat kale fresh I haven't ever seen it with lemon juice on it. https://www.backyardchickens.com/th...s-niacin-riboflavin-deficiency.1228833/page-3

Turkey starter, finisher, or maintenance?

Turkey starter, finisher, or maintenance?
He was on Turkey Starter for a while but the big bag of turkey crumble we bought today that he's been eating doesn't distinguish and there was only one option. It just says "Bird Game Feed" and it's Kruses Perfection Brand. We have medicated chick starter mash that I think has Niacin in it, but when we got our ducklings the lady told us that they absolutely should NOT be allowed to eat the mash.

What is the protein on the "Bird Game Feed"?
