I have a 4 months old rooster and 4 months old pullet my mom said if I pull their back tail feathers off they will grow then I pulled there tail off now I am worring will they be all right.

Stop pulling feathers out of your birds.

I do not understand why in the heck you would pull the feathers off a chicken or roo. It does NOT make them grow faster but it hurts like heck ! Grab a fist full of your hair and pull it out and see if you grow faster or get smarter. I do not mean to be out of line with my post but "really" ?. Animal abuse of ANY kind makes me very angry very quick. Please search and read about the PROPER, CORRECT, HUMANE, way to raise your chickens. THINK before you do something - I don't care who told you to do it. There is volumes and volumes of good and correct information here on B.Y.C. . READ IT. !

While I won't disagree with your observation, posting such a suspicion openly can lead to receiving an infraction so it would be better to report the posts in question to admin with your concerns - better than having yourself end up in trouble.
