I have a white rock or orpington about a year old and just last night she was on the ground laying on her side breathing heavy and wouldn't move at all even when nudged a little. This morning she got up and isn't moving to much. just standing there near the waterer close to where she was laying. i think she might have some discharge from her nose and there are little shavings almost stuck to her beak

Can you put her by herself under a heat lamp and feed her some scrambled eggs and yogurt to get her strength back up? You can put baby vitamins (without iron) or electrolytes in the water for her, too. Have you checked her over to look for bites or tears in the skin? See if you can tell if there really is discharge from her nose, that could be an infection. Until then, keep her warm and calm so she can rest and not have to use her energy keeping warm.
