Sometimes accidents are the best kind of happenings

Spoke with my DH just now. He's having a good day working at the school. All the other officers however.....

DH was at the PD this morning for a bit. One of the younger officers asked him for some detail about the photos that hang on the wall just outside the chief's office. The photos are a tribute to four officers killed back in the 80s.

DH's portable radio got too loud and he reached for it (on his duty/utility belt) to turn it down. His hand hit the top of his can of pepper spray instead.

The chief of police has been giving DH a bad time about retiring.

Sometimes karma is a wonderful thing.

My brothers an officer too. There is so much stuff on their belts I'm surprised they grab the right thing half the time.

He just got home and changed out of his uniform. There's a big yellow spot on the side of his undershirt. The dogs are avoiding him. Gee, I wonder why.
