Sometimes they're so sweet

This is one of my favorite times too! So quiet, so relaxed and they are all getting ready to pack it in for the roosting poles. I have even one of my most shy that really warms up just before pole time. I don't watch much T.V. either now. I watch the chickies and unwind at evening time. Trudy

My favorite time is early morning. I take my coffee and a bagel outside and have breakfast with the chickens. I drop bits of bagel on the ground and Lucky calls to the hens to come get it. He doesn't eat it, just points with his beak and they gobble it up. Then Nellie flys up on my lap and I feed her bits of bagel. Then they all follow me around the yard while I tend the garden and hang up clothes. They are so sweet!
