The word "bake" has a silent e at the end. So do a lot of words.

When people say, "Mm-bye now," the mm is said, but not spelled. Same with (c)rap music. The c is often not said, but it should be!

The "I'll be watching you" one kept tugging at my brain. I don't recall the words for that song, because my brain keeps auto-filling with a different one.

Just realized it's a song that actually always made my skin crawl...
(Schoolbus approved radio was the country station. The same songs repeated.. every... single... day.... every year)

"I've been watching you, dad, ain't that cool! I'm your buckaroo, I want to be like you!"

One i disliked even more than that was
"I want to talk about ME, I want to talk about I, I want to talk about number one--" (the lyrics have never left my brain.)

I don't have a problem with other people liking these songs

But having to listen to them 200 times every year, for a decade or so...
