but you never hear anything from them on the radio.
or in my case even over the internet "blocked in your country on copyright grounds". I wonder if the music companies realise what they are doing to artists' exposure when they do that. We've got a band that isn't familiar to me, some fans mentioning it, and I can't watch it or hear it to know whether I might want to buy it. Why do they DO that?

There are ways around these restrictions/blocking. If you download and use an OPERA browser. (free) (and from a land that believes in privacy) Adjust your setting to VPN. and the site you are reaching will not know your exact location. In your case its Australia, and the web site thinks you are in Canada. They may not be blocking content to that country, but to yours. There is nothing ILLEGAL about using these settings. Privacy is PRIVACY, and in too many places it is VANISHING.
Copyright grounds would apply to someone trying to download a file. I'm not sure listening to a file is the same.???

Were you unable to open any of the You Tube postings I placed. ??? Are you able to freely browse You Tube??? I do not know the regulations where you are, but here I can view anything on You Tube.
No, it's just some videos, sometimes. Mostly, I can see everything, it was just that Scorpions song that was "blocked". A lot of other US sites are "region blocked" (or whatever it's called). A lot of the TV network sites don't work/are blocked.
I know about VPNs, but frankly, I can't be bothered. I used to use Opera, but it suddenly gave up working. I couldn't be bothered fiddling to try to find out why, and just use a different browser.
I just don't understand why they do it - we can't know whether we want to buy something if we can't access it/hear about it/know about it.

This is a his and hers insert.

My husband is high energy, he gets the job done. He is stubborn and not a I give up kind a guy. He likes some stuff I don't really appreciate but it keeps him moving to get things done. So I pretend to go along with it as long as the chore gets done. This one was on this evening and got him done hanging new 10' gate in our paddocks in double time.

This is a little more up my alley. I kinda go for one hit wonders, songs that more unconventional than over played. Obscure time pieces. This is a weird tune created long before then"Rap" craze took over. Not played on the radio anymore because the radio is there to sell music. I just want to hear the old obscure classics like this one.

That's weird because the Scorpions are a European band. However, they've had album covers that were banned in the prissy US. You can say what you want, but heaven forbid someone sees a naked body anywhere but their mirror. Dumb.

Awwww.. Another I love my better half post bla bla from fc!:lau
Our musical tastes are not on opposite ends of the spectrum. He has a habit of heavy music moments. He loves the Foo Fighters. Some of the stuff chases me out of the barn and into the house..hehe.
This is one I can groove to. An acoustic version of a heavy music song. I like this..

Her comes Grannie's classics again..
I had a transistor radio as a kid and this one filled the airways..
