Songs You Hate to Hear!

All country music. The only reason I don't block Lady Gaga is because I memorized the lyrics to a funny parody to the tune of 'Poker Face'.

Almost all of the old C & W stuff . . .and don't care for much of the new, but have to admit my ringback is Tim McCraw's song "Live like you are dying". I just love that one. Sometimes its not so much the SONG as it is who sings it . . .Pink sort of makes me cringe. . .Lady Gaga is just plain goofy . . .the one song about "taking a ride on my little green tractor" makes me want to puke . . .heavy metal can have a good beat, but who can understand the lyrics? They seem to be full of such anger when they scream them out I can't figure them out. Not that I listen to them anyway . . .but just give me good old' Rock and Roll and I will be happy. Go Rod!!!!!

I'm not a huge country song fan. Justin Beiber, Beeper, however the heck you spell that kids name. Miley Cyrus, Lady Gaga, I never liked that guy Billy Corgan from Smashing Pumpkins. I was never a Pat Benatar fan. I'm sure I'm leaving a bunch out. I'm a rock n roll gal.

Anything by Meatloaf. My DH loves him, but I just can't stand him. I've really tried, but I just can't do it.

"I would do anything for love, but I won't do that"... It just sort of grates on me, like, well a cheese grater. Ugh! Or Objects in the rearview mirror! It's like nails on a chalkboard to me! And he seems like a really nice guy, but...

Or Tammy Wynette, "Stand by your man". I don't know, the lyrics are too old school for me. I think it should be more like "Stand by your woman"!

Edited to correct typos. Sorry!

Pretty much anything past the early 80's, plus all country western, all R&B, all rap (if you can call it music at all) and

"Tie a Yellow Ribbon" by Tony Orlando and Dawn. Omigosh, they played that stupid song into the ground!

ETA: I do not like Christmas music (or movies, either)
