As fbc notes (and anyone who tries to take pictures of peas knows) some colors are just difficult to capture in photos.
Small changes in light can make such a big difference in the photographic results.
Since you seem so very concerned about Violettas, you'll just have to go see one in person, won'tcha?

On the other hand, white with "green eyes" should be quite easy to capture in a photo...

I am with french and new 2 pfowl because for example Bronze peafowl are hard to capture their beauty in a photo. They are stunning in real life just as the Violetas probably are.

I would like to see a better photo of the green eye especially fanneed out. Also green eye would be a pattern, not a color, i.e. white eye is considered a pattern.
