sooo excited!

I get my girls tomorrow and I am so excited. i'm just starting out with 6 hens ranging from 2 to 5 years old. one of my friends is selling all but about 20 of her hen (she will be going thru the "empty nest" syndrome) and won't need all 150 chickens. I've got everything ready for them! I hope I can take care of them properly and do what's right for them.

Oh wow, you went right to mature hens! I bet you will definitely enjoy them. And remember, a way to a chicken's heart is food....Treats......They'll love you! LOL

yes, I don't plan on having chicks or roosters. I don't have the time or room to do baby chicks or deal with the roosters. I love eggs though and so does my husband!
