Hi everyone,
I have a 5 week old duck and 2 chicks (White Cornish). .They have been roomies since day one, until about a week ago and I moved Mr. Duckles out with the other duck. Yesterday, I put the chicks in the duck enclosure so they could run around. Mr. Duckles was so excited to see them, his little butt shaking 900 miles an hour. He went running up to them nudging easily, and Squawking. I sat and watched for about an hour to make sure the chicks were good with Draka, (other duck) and Mr. Duckles never left their side. I left the chicks in there for the night and they all got along great. I think Minnie/Mickey (not sure yet) thinks she’s a duck, I caught her sitting IN the water dish the other day.
It was so cute I had to share.
