sore foot on my chicken

I have never had a lame chicken before. I found my chicken with this sore today. I washed it off and put antibiotic ointment on it with a bandage. Did I do the right thing? I plan on changing the bandage again tomorrow. Should I be doing anything else ? TY for your assistance. patti

Hi I think that you are doing the right thing, just keep it clean and with Neosporin without the pain medicine in it. Good Luck
