I wasn't going to post but decided to share my thoughts.

I'm glad this "Luke" (I'm sure that's made up to) did this. Why? Because it shows that the majority of people are wonderful, caring, ready to jump in and give to anyone in need. BYC is made up of these wonderful people and that's one of the many reasons I love BYC. Most of us have never met but we know that others here are truly interested, concerned, ready to pray and help in any way they can.

'Luke' has serious problems, we can pray for him/her also. And, we can sit back and know that we are part of a very special group of people who are the real deal!


I am very sorry for those who have experienced their own loss and heartache and had that brought to the forefront by this thread.

Oh my goodness! Glad someone busted Jenn for this mess! I am not aware of the BYC bust but something didn't sound right while the stories went thru so I kinda sat on the sidelines to see whats going to happen.

Well, it's sad that it all turned out to be a fake. However it won't stop me from praying for those who need it, and for caring about the people here at BYC.

What hurts is that someone here may be having an issue they need to talk about, and now they won't feel comfortable to get it off their chests for fear of being called fakes. Or that we might be more hesitant to offer support of our fellow BYC'ers. ( not that i think anyone would be harsh or mean spirited, I just mean it's harder to trust right away when something like this happens)

personally, one of the main issues i have with this is that it was blatant pre-meditated fraud. how many hours they must have spent planning out this whole farse and collecting internet images. i have no doubt that this person is doing the same elsewhere and will be back.

How weird ! Yappyfingers Deb said she had been talking with them on the phone ? I thought it was pretty weird when someone who claimed to be Jenns nurse was on the forum chatting about her premature labor.
