Sorry - Apology from "Samarai Jenn" about the entire fake story

Ok, so being fairly new to this site and don't follow forums on any other site, can Nifty walk us through how they started the "investigation?" When were you guys first thinking this was a fake?

Even though I was sucked into this on a smaller scale than some, I would be interested to know how these things get "busted". Will the reall Sherlock Holmes please come forward and tell us the tale?

Crazy that people would give info like their cell phone #'s to strangers on the internet. A few people on here know my personal info but it's because we've met in person or had a real need to. I can't believe that so many people are willing to just drop their phone #s in the blink of an eye.

Is something like that punishable in any way? Besides just being IP banned, which doesn't really help much.

Maybe its just me, I haven't been here long, but I never expected anything like that to happen here. In random chat rooms, game rooms and on places like MySpace, yeah, but not here. Truly weird for someone to need attention that bad that they make up lies like that, when he would have gotten just as many friends and people to talk to if he had just said hi, my name is luke, I would love to have chickens one day...or whatever. People here are very caring and supportive, this will leave a lot of us leary for quite awhile, I'm sure. Truly sad.

I know what you meant, Jordan is very real. I know they were texting him trying to sell the story, and I'm really upset that they took advantage of my friend.
