Sorry - Apology from "Samarai Jenn" about the entire fake story

I'm 47 and got sucked in. I am a bit too trusting at times, however I have said this before and still believe it now after all this: it is better to trust and be burned than to never trust at all.

We have very true-hearted people here at this site, and I for one, do not plan on letting this incident poison me. The fact that we all prayed for fake people? God knows, God knew and this happened quicker because we did than if we hadn't.

For everyone that prayed, I think Deb's point is right on the money! Regardless of the deity of your choosing and how you pray, if you believe in a supreme being and the power of prayer you must also recognize this being's ability to know your heart was in the right place and your intentions were good. At the end of the day, that's what will matter.

Everyone always wants to stop talking about stuff and pretend it never happened. That person had months to laugh at all of us for our hundreds of posts and we are supposed to find out its fake, shrug our shoulders and move on two minutes later?

Also, not everyone that sent their prayers is online at this very moment. If this thread is closed, others will open their own, wondering what happened.

I hope he/she isn't getting some kind of sick thrill from reading our replies.

The more I think about it, the more I see it. I was starting to question "Jenn's" judgment about things, but who was I to judge how she was supposed to grieve the loss of a baby, etc. Now I know. Now it makes perfect sense.

to all who are still in shock!

As my mother always said..."What goes around, comes around".

WOW!! That is very scary! What a shame for the REAL parents of those babies! "Jenn" just did a survey earlier on myspace that said "her" one wish was to have Elijah here, I cried!

I can believe the wool was pulled over our eyes.....Shame on him

This is just shocking to me. There were a few things that puzzled me (like how someone who just delivered triplets and lost one, could be logging in to BYC) but being the nieve person that I am, still believed the whole story. My DH, who is skeptical of everyone, said from the begining it was a fake, someone trying to get money from us. I told him BYC people don't do that!

What I would like to know is how you guys caught him, and how we can keep from falling for this kind of stuff in the future?

Thanks to all who work so hard to keep this place safe
