I just diapered Victor (for a trip to the pet store) and put him on the floor so I could diaper Ming Mei. I grab Ming Mei and start putting her diaper on when I noticed Victor running to the bathroom and hopping over obstacles (we're doing some redecorating so there's things in the hallway floor). I caught up with him just in time to see him hop in the tub waiting for me to turn on the water...

Meanwhile Ming Mei was a ninja. She quietly followed me then climbed halfway into the bag of koi pond food that was in the bathroom while I was pulling Victor out of the tub... Fortunately the bag was empty. Ming Mei didn't get the memo that the reason we're going to the pet store is to buy her more pond food.

Anybody else have silly stories of ducks doing their own thing?

My Monty grew up as a house duck...But now lives outside. But he still likes to come inside or a visit. A few weeks ago while on holidays from work, I always left the back door open so he could wander inside if he liked. He did. Sometimes he would just come for a quick hello, and wander straight back outside. Other times he would make a dash for my feet, trying to bite me, and on a few occassions he just sat where his little bed used to be for a while, before going back outside to be with the other ducks again. Lucky we have wooden and lino flooring....so we always get prewarned by the sound of footsteps when the ducks come inside the house.

haha how cute.

my drake, Duckie will start shaking the bag of food when he wants some. my little girl will fly up and jump in the pen and sit there and wait for me to feed her. they try to eat the bunny's food too lol

I was going to bring Jack and Charlotte in for some inside time , so I took them out of their kiddie pool in the florida room - as soon as Jack hits the floor he makes a dash for the open living room door , jumps the step, and walks right on into the carpeted livingroom - WITHOUT A DIAPER!!! Scared me to death that he would poo before i could catch him.

Then the other day when i wasnt home, mom went to do something outside really quick - so she left the door open. Jack and charlotte see the chance, brave the giat flappy doggy door, and walk into the house - where my mom proceeds to chase them around the couches in circles before the dogs finally black one way so that the duckies head back into the florida room and outside! It was so funny when i came home and my mom proceeded with " Do you know what your brats put me through today?!"

You should do a recap, only this time get a video for America's Funniest! This would HAVE to be funnier than anything they have on there! When you do it, be sure to say on camera "Hi Duckluck from BYC!"
