SOS!!!! Rooster lost his voice

Awww! Sweet little guy:(

Hopefully the Vitamin E and PND will be of benefit. You mentioned walking backwards - this could be neurological. Marek's comes to mind, but there's so many other things that can go wrong too.
The vitamins (E and B's) are used as supportive care for neurological conditions.
I’m hoping it’s not Marek’s. He doesn’t have paralysis of the legs or wings. He kicks his legs quite a bit and tries to walk but mostly ends up going backwards and using his wings for support. Unless he bumped his head I’m not sure becuase he’s only with his ladies. I’m still kind of bamboozled as to the almost losing some of his voice. Ugh. I wish he could just tell me. I did get the amount of vitamins you recommended into him today. He wasn’t particularly impressed with me. Lol

Need advice please!

My bantam Cochin rooster is not feeling well. I noticed about 2 days ago that his crow was off. Sounded like he was losing his voice. I gave him and his ladies some warm oatmeal with honey.
Upon reading a bunch found it could possibly
Be respiratory issues. The next morning I added antibiotics to his whole pens water. This morning he seemed okay. Crow still off. When I came home this afternoon I noticed he wasn’t moving much and just kind of sitting. He walks but is really wobbly and only goes a bit. He’s eating but not much. I’ve given him nutri drench in a drizzle over his beak. Last night we did give him shot of duramycin. This morning he looks to be about the same. No crowing. I’m so sad he’s my little man. Any help or words of wisdom would be greatly appreciated.
Ps. I did notice it felt like his crop wasn’t fully empty this morning as well. Felt slightly impacted. I massaged for a while he’s getting light food I mixed his mask with water so it would be soft.
My rooster started losing his voice today and I’m very worried because 3 days ago one of our hens suddenly couldn’t walk and 3 hours later she died. She breathed weird right before the end

You don't notice anything inside his beak or throat and his crop is emptying completely right?

I haven’t seen anything inside his beak. I haven’t looked down his throat. This morning his crop felt like it had not emptied quite all the way. Felt like maybe some corn? I massaged for a bit and then made him soft scrambled eggs mixed with the coconut oil. I’m afraid to withhold food becuase he’s pretty skinny. He nibbled on the eggs most of the day. I’ve also been mixing his feed with water to make a mash.

Right. I wouldn't withhold feed at this point either but I would check the crop every morning to see how it's functioning.

Hey! So, still the same. Nothing worse nothing better. There is still some items in his crop but not nearly as much as yesterday. I’ve seen a couple place where people had birds with worms and some of the same symptoms were present. Wouldn’t I see the worms in his poop though? I’ve watch a thousand videos on mareks and now have stressed my self out completely. He is still kicking his legs, trying to walk but ends up going backwards. Still flapping wings. Still crowing as well lol. Still sounds Hoarse. He really only eats when I prompt him too and yesterday he drank water in the morning but I had to dip his beak most of the rest of the day. We’re supposed to leave today to head up north for Christmas would a 12 hour car ride make things worse?? I may have a couple of other chicken friends who could take him and try. I’m just at a loss.

I would probably start treating the crop and de-worm him as well.
You can use Safeguard to de-worm. Dose is 0.23 ml per pound of weight given orally once a day for 5 days.

How long will you be gone? Is he able to eat/drink/get to food by himself?

We’re going to be gone for 12 days. I’m trying to find a friend to watch him for me. He’s not really I have to entice him with the food and dip his beak in the water. I have the safegaurd horse paste I was told a dime size amount. Is that for 5 days too? Think on the package it says one treatment then treat again in 10 days

Can you take him with you? That's a long time if he's not able to eat/drink on his own very well unless you have a friend that can chicken sit.

You can use the Safeguard horse paste. Dose is the same regardless of what form it's in.

The info on your package is for horses. For Poultry you will want to do the 5 days, that will treat most worms that's chickens can have. Dime size dose is not accurate.
