Sour crop and treatment?

@Wyorp Rock she is still alive, but her comb is a bit purple. She's got diarrhea (got dirty other vent feathers). She's sitting in the nest since yesterday evening and when i took her out she jumped in. Oh my, she's a box of sickness :( (limping, diarrhea, crop problems, this lash egg and had stridor 2 times). Could this be sign of egg bound? Grandpa said she didn't got out of the nest in the morning.

And again in the nesting box, she makes gurgling like sounds with her mouth. After school gonna try checking her for an egg bound.

She left the nest and was walking

I'm sorry to hear she's struggling.
Since she's having trouble with Salpingitis (Lash Egg) and also some crop issues she may be starting to decline or is having trouble passing more lash material.

Poor baby :( There was no egg stuck fortunately, and she went roosting tonight

She died an hour ago, she'd been struggling with breathing for a few hours before death. After death some "mucus" was in her beak.

I would always make water available for her during waking hours.
You can give her yogurt for probiotics, that's fine - about 1 tablespoon a day.
Withholding food for a day may help during treatment.

Can you get an over the counter vaginal yeast or anti-fungal cream that contains Miconazole or Clortrimazole? That is what I would use to treat the sour crop. Instructions are in the link below but I just draw up the correct amount of cream and direct dose the hen twice a day.
Don't massage the crop if it's sour.

With her being an older hen the crop issue may be due to a reproductive disorder or other underlying condition, but hopefully you can get it cleared up to make her more comfortable.

Offering her a little wet mushy feed or bits of soft cooked egg is fine if she's willing to eat.

I recommend that you read the whole article, it has some good information. Get back with us on how she's doing.

Hello, I’m going to try this with my chicken but I have a question. Should I be feeding her and giving her water while she is on the Miconazole? Should she be isolated?
