Sour crop

The requested poop photos attached. She went three times while I had her out putting the crop bra on, though the last was mostly liquid (not pictured). Seems like something is moving, at least?

The poop is quite yellow which could indicate an internal infection of some sort other than yeast. Simple yeast infections usually turn up very white chalky greenish. I am thinking E.coli or Enteritis of some sort?

Interestingly enough, last night her poop was VERY chalky greenish.

Should I start her on antibiotics as well, despite the fact that they aren't great for a sour crop issue?

Well maybe this poop was a bit of a cecal poop mix giving that yellow hue. If the poop is usually chalky whitish greenish, than its probably still a simple sour crop.

So you got a bra on her? How is she liking it? :D Some of mine don't even notice them on. Others fall over like cats in sweaters. :lau The hen I am treating now has had so many yeasty crops, she hardly knows shes wearing it these days. :hmm

When you say chalky, what do you mean? Trying to get a visual. :D

The yeast sort of make the urates clump and chunky like. The urates are dry too, so the poop looks like it was dusted in chalk. Hard to describe. LOL I will see if I can get a pic today of my girl's poop.

Okay, I have seen that too, but in my birds it went away after I gave them fluids.

Haha, she HATES the bra. She tilted forward like a teapot till she fell on her face, then cowboy-walked away to hide under the sink.

The chalky poop just had a LOT of white in it and was more solid than liquid.

 They get used to wearing clothes pretty quick.
