I’m not too sure about sneezing for attention but it does sound funny. If his wheezing is worrying you you can try some antibiotics. The antibiotics will only work if it’s bacterial. There are viruses that can cause wheezing in chickens but most of the time they come with other symptoms.
You can also do supportive things to help boost his immune system so he can try and fight it himself. When my rooster started wheezing I tried yogurt with oatmeal. Apple cider vinegar in his water and probiotics in his food. I also fed him extra protein. My roosters wheeze was pretty bad so after trying to boost his immune system didn’t work I gave him the antibiotics. So if your roosters wheeze isn’t so bad that it’s interfering with his daily life he might be able to fight it himself.
