Hi everyone! Im still having issues with my chicken she has been sick, i have found out with the info i received she has sour crop, its fluid filled and squishy not hard. Few days ago i noticed she spit up brown fluid, i picked her up And pushed on her chest to see if it was hard and all this brown fluid came out. I isolated her in a box in my house and attempted to give her apple cider and no food for 24 hrs. she doesn’t want anything to do with the apple cider. After letting her rest for a day i gave her some scrambled eggs which i usually don’t give my chickens because i am afraid they will develop a taste for the eggs. But she needed to eat something. She had little bit of that then i put her outside in her own separate area tonget some exercise and put her water out there she didnt want anything to do with that. I put her out with the other chickens to forage figuring that she could get some nutrients from some bugs. She did good most of the day she walked around alot and did chicken things then i noticed she spit up clear fluid. I thought she was moving along but she started spitting up again im happy it wasn’t brown but not happy she spitting up again! I just started her on the monistat little in her beak. Im hoping that anyone could offer some advice as what else i might be able to do. Thank you

Offer her plain water to drink. If her crop is sour, she should be isolated in a crate with clean water with electrolytes and vitamins. She should not be free ranging where she would eat grass and bugs. Check her crop first thing each morning to see if her crop is emptying or if it is full and squishy. Give the Monistat 1/2 inch orally twice a day. Tomorrow if her crop is down some, offer some very watery egg, and a little plain yogurt with live cultures. Here is a good crop article to use:

today she doesn’t want to eat anything. She seems tired. I put her on my patio and offered scrambled eggs egg soaked bread, few granola pieces shes just standing over the food. Wants nothing to do with it. I was able to get some monistat into her then blended some eggs and water and was able to use the monistat plunger to get little food into her. She did spit up again last night when i went to puck her up. Her crop has been empty for a while. Cant get her to drink or eat. Anything else i might be able to do. Thank you

What breed is she? Has she laid any lash eggs? Does she have any discharge, and what color is it? What does her comb look like?

Hi i believe shes a Rhode Island red. I have her isolated. She has not laid any eggs. I did start the monistat yesterday. I feel so bad for her. She has not has any appetite today. I tried giving her little scrambled egg, some type of seedlings in scratch grass that a local farmer recommended out if desperation. I dont see her drinking anything either but her comb doesn’t seem dehydrated
Not sure what else i should do. I didn’t see her spit up today. I feel so bad for her.
Thanks

Not sure what else i should do. I didn’t see her spit up today. I feel so bad for her. I haven’t heard of a lash egg. She does have pasty butt. I did wash her few days ago and again today i noticed it was back. Im wondering if i should keep giving her the miconazole even if she hasn’t eaten today. Thank you

She’s sleeping
