My three year old Light Brahma appears to have a sour crop.
It is huge!! It is squishy, which leads me to believe that it is not impacted. Never dealt with this before though.
She has always had a big chest. So, I never have worried about this. But a couple weeks, maybe three weeks ago, I noticed it was really big and kind of swinging when she walks.
Now she is doing a funny thing with her neck. Kind of like she is trying to raise her chest but nothing happens. Anyway, it just looks like she's is uncomfortable.
I smelled her mouth and it isn't a horrible smell like I have read. It is sweet smelling, kind of strange smelling but not foul smell.
I have kind of just wished a couple weeks ago it would go away on its own. But that didn't happen. So, this morning I gave her a 2ccs of olive oil. I massaged her chest. I gave her some yogurt. I tried turning her upside down or at least at a 60 degree angle and nothing happened.
I am worried about her and wondering what I should do next. I really am at loss.
