Sour crop!?

My welsummer hen's crop has recently 'dropped' and become very low. It feels squishy as if liquid was inside it. Her poos have been very watery at the moment.
Here is a picture of her, by the way, she is 9 years old. Could her age have anything to do with it?


If she does have a sour crop, what are the cures?

Is there any smell from crop? If it is sour crop,several people on forums have been using monistat(for yeast infections),comes with 3 tablets,cut each into 1/3,give orally 1 cut tablet twice a day. Apparently it works amazing.
