Sour/Impacted crop help

My hen has had a very large pouch on her crop for a couple of months. She doesn't eat anything, but drinks a lot. At first I thought it was cocci, so I gave her Corrid in her water, but that didn't help. I then noticed her large pouch and realized it was her crop. I have given her strictly ACV water and no food, and I've massaged her crop from top to bottom, but it still doesn't seem to be getting better. Her crop feels very hard like a softball. I saw the video about turning the hen upside down and making her 'vomit' but it has been advised not to do that as it could choke her. I live alone and I am not that experienced, so I do not want to risk doing anything like that. I'm trying to find more natural ways to help her. I tried feeding her yogurt, but she refuses to eat it. All she does now is stand in her run with her eyes closed all day. I'm not sure what to do. There are no avian vets in my area that will see hens, so I am on my own here.

She has not eaten for a week, but she has not lost weight it seems. All she is getting right now is ACV water and daily crop massages.

Will sour/impacted crop go away on its own? Would love any advice/help on what to do.

you can get a dropper and fill it with olive oil and open her beak and drip it in. she will not like it but give her about 4-5 dropper fulls and then give her some water and massage her crop. you can lessen or give more as needed. repeat as long as it persits

Is there a way for me to administer without opening her beak? She always keeps jerking her head away, not letting me touch her, so I am unable to administer anything to her beak. It is already hard enough trying to massage her crop. She always squirms and tries to fly whenever I touch her, so I can only get about a few seconds of massaging in each time...

Do you have photos of your hen and her poop?

Will she eat if you offer her food?

She must be eating something at some point, she won't make it much longer without food.

Provide her with wet mushy feed and plain fresh water.

If the crop is hard, it may be impacted.
Give her chunks of hardened coconut oil (about 1teaspoon) twice a day.
If necessary, open her beak and put the chunks of oil into her beak and allow her to swallow. It's not a good idea to syringe liquid oil since they can aspirate and develop Lipid Pneumonia which is deadly.

Is there a bad odor?
You can try giving Tomato Juice about 10ml twice a day to see if that gets things moving (in addition to the oil) and helps break down what's in the crop.

When are you checking her crop? Is it still full and hard first thing in the morning before she's had anything to eat/drink?

What do you feed?

Her poop is watery and brownish. Sometimes it's just straight water.

She will not let me touch her face and I'm so afraid of handling her too roughly and forcing her mouth open.

I check her crop every day usually in the morning. It is always hard and hangs down when she walks. I have her in an area that is just plain dirt, and no grass, so she's not eating any grass. If she's eating anything, it's probably dirt.

I don't have any coconut oil, but I will try the olive oil.

I have tried giving her mushy feed as well as yogurt with some mushy feed sprinkled on top but all she does is shake her head and moves away.

I was able to put some olive oil and acv in the water, and she seems to be drinking that like crazy. So I have waited for her to finish drinking and I try to massage her crop. It's still large and softball sized and has not gone down.

This morning, a large frog found its way into the run, and I found her picking at its corpse >.> Needless to say, I got rid of it, but now I'm worried she might get sick from that...

She still won't eat yogurt, and I think she's only surviving from eating dirt and drinking water. So I'm not sure if her crop is full of mud or what. Her poop is still greenish brown and watery, and there's not much poop at all. Massaging and oil doesn't seem to be doing anything as I've been at this for a few days now with no improvement.

She walks around her run with her eyes closed, and stands with her eyes closed...

Update:

Today her crop felt a lot softer today, but it is still full and hanging. It's squishy when I massage it, and I feel something sloshing around, so I'm not sure if that's a good thing. I have done more massaging and continued to give her oil/ACV/water solution only. Still no food.

She has repeatedly been adjusting her crop and "swallowing" (opening her beak and closing it, like she's regurgitating and swallowing it back down), so I'm not sure if this is a good sign or not. She has not done that before until today. Does this mean the crop is getting better or is slowing emptying? Her poop is still very little and brownish-green, and watery.

Can you cage her with food and a bit of wet poultry feed.

This will let you get a good look at her poop, you can also see if she's eating a little and drinking.

Take the food/water out of the cage at roosting time (dusk). Check her crop so you know what it feels like. In the morning before you give back the food/water, re-check the crop and see what it feels like.
Let us know what it's like after you've done this.

Photos of overnight droppings.

She has to eat; you can't continue to withhold food.
