Sourland's 2012 season

Well, the 2012 season has ended for the beagles of Sourland. We attended 17 field trials and had 39 entries, and the results were:

1st 6

2nd 4

3rd 6

4th 3

5th 6

I also sent one dog with a handler for 10 field trials where he got 2 wins, 2 2nds, and 2 4ths.

Poor Richard achieved his championship, and Uncle Jay is well on his way. Next season I will work on getting Jay finished and start his half sister, Baby Jayne, on the circuit. I still love this sport, but it is getting harder to leave the houe at 4 AM and make a 200 mile drive in order to compete.

Very impressive! Beagles are such great little dogs, especially the field trial bred ones. You must have worked very hard for such success.

That's the hardest part about rabbit shows, too.
