yea. funny cause what y'all didn't see in the pics is that i carried a pile of bricks from one side of my yard to another to build an herb spiral. kind of like this except against the fence. I only have a before pile of an ugly pile of repurposed brick but once i cover it in dirt and get it going it will look fantastic. while the shoveling didn't help the bricks really topped it off.
i feel your pain just looking at the pictures. i know you were wore out.

Mary I feel your pain with the trespassing. We just acquired ourselves a nice new deer stand - found it up in a tree on our property (which is posted "no trespassing, no hunting). Our property is even signed with the DNR so anyone caught here will be prosecuted to the fullest and we don't even have to be involved. Hasn't made much difference yet though, we have hunters, 4 wheelers, dirt bikes etc. Makes me so mad.

One reason I'm glad to leave out here now full-time. We picked up the kids from school one day last week and drove up to the farm. A man had parked his car and was taking pictures. My donkeys had come up to the fence and he was petting one of them. I kind of didn't like that but he had kayaks on top of his car so my husband said, "He's just a nature lover." So I got out to get the mail and yelled, "His name is Muffin." That guy was out there for a long time.

People are so rude. I can't believe people just go on someone's property like that.

THAT IS SO AWSOME THOUGH!!! I have tons and tons of brick on my land...and red clay...you gave me inspiration for all the rock...now for the red clay...hmmmmmm

I am sorry for your losses. Don't be discouraged though!!!

When we got home yesterday the one was droopy and today he died. I am very bummed with my peacock adventure. I have wormed them and even gave them some acorn squash last week when they seemed to not be eating well. I guess it could be blackhead but I see no signs in the droppings that make me think it is. I think my peacock adventure may be about over....

ive lost both of my lavender Orps. one with in the week i bought them. and the other yesterday. I think it had to do with the guy i bought them from because they never seemed to be heavy as my Buff Orp.

Please buy a wheelbarrow!

That saves a lot of backache!

And OMG that is gorgeous. Where did you find that Idea? I can see that with herbs or trailing flowers or anything!
