LOL~I used to be at Best Buy a LOT even just to chat at employees! Now I might go twice a year.

I would love to try an Iphone but Alltel doesn't offer one....I have a Motorolla Droid that I have had 2 years...been in water at lake and beach...no problems but my DH has a HTC Droid and it is always trouble!!! I love my Ipod but bought the kids tablets( really nice ones,not cheapos) because some of thier friends had trouble transferring school work with the whole apple/windows thing. I am not good enough with puters to figure out that mess! LOL But I have had no problems with the new BYC either...I have never tried to post pics to BYC from my phone but I do everything else with it,bill pay,internet,ebay,etc too!! Now I am curious and I am gonna have to try...Mom is lucky to have a choice!!

I don't have problems with the forums....I just do not like them...I started just visiting this thread LONG before the changes were made.



OH I do have an iPod.........an old one......one of the longer flat lime green ones. LOL!

and now a computer analyst that needs...OK...don't even go there...that means I need extra gray matter in the brain area that I am suffering from a shortage of right now!!! LOL

The main issue with android is that there are many options. some are better than others. Iphone is iphone is iphone. the best description i have heard is that an iphone is like a toy truck. it will always be a toy truck. an android phone is like a box of legos - you can make it whatever you want it to be. some of the older versions of the operating systems were buggy, but the newer ones are prety solid, but i don't suggest the "economy" models. there are more options to download software, like google, amazon, or private companies. and I don't have to load itunes on my computer either. no proprietary connectors, etc.

Those are just opinions, so take it for what you paid for it.

Hello fellow south carolinians... I need some advice..My baby chicks have become quite adventurous..I have one chick in particular that is bullying the other chicks and insist on trying to escape the brooder area.. I have the chicks in a 6' x 1 1/2' aquarium. I'm not sure how to discourage or prevent this baby chick from escaping but would welcome all suggestioins.. Its very important that the chick doesn't escape for several reasons.. 1. It's a long way down from the top of the aquarium (it's on a large stand).. 2. We have a resident fat, lazy kitty that has been eyeballing the chicks from below the aquarium all week.. For the record..the lazy cat can't get to the top of the aquarium to get to the birds, but if one (crazy, adventurous chick was to fly out it would be a different story.. Hopefully y'all can suggest some cheap methods to keep these babies safe..

terarium type lid? screens from window overlapping? chicken wire? hardware stores have screen kits and pre made screens. they are made to be cut to fit. I would think a 2 or 3 part screen would make for easy access.

Thank you for the advice. I will hopefully be able to go out today and get something to cover the top of the tank to keep my baby chicks inside and safe. I guess I was ignorant and didn't expect them to fly out so I never covered the top.. Oh well.. lesson learned on that one.. probably lots more lessons to learn coming soon LOL..

We got the kids the Toshiba Thrive tablets...lots of usb's,memory expansion slots and works with windows/droid!! They do everything my new dell does!! Way more options than the ipads...and with school work they need everything to jive with school puters!!
