South Carolina

I am not selling a thing- but I sure am coming up to visit!!!!! Lincolnton isn't that terribly far. I can't wait to see everyone. Should I wear a nametag that says "Just Reebok"? Is anyone else wearing their BYC stuff??

Yes, big name tags are always great.
You can't miss me, I wear a T-shirt that says West Knoll Farm on it, as does my hubby.
Not many folks have farm t-shirts so name tags are great but you have to write big and bold to catch everyone's attention because it is mostly on the birds! LOL

and hopefully we will all be together

Yes, we are planning on it this time around.
Last spring Mary was way over near the bathrooms while the rest of us were out in the field. Mary may have had the right of it being near the action! LOL

It will be fun to be side by side or across from each other again!

LOL I knew people had to walk by plus I was near the concessions and the raffle items. Lots of foot traffic is good. I hope the weather is gorgeous and everyone sells and buys lots of birds. I hope to have some creamed honey left to sell. Will also have regular raw honey. Should be a fun day visiting with everyone.

We *FINALLY* got the coop built, so I'm seriously considering going to Chickenstock. But I'm totally afraid of the chicken math that might ensue! It doesn't help that the coop looks ginormous now that the chickens have moved in - though I know at 9 weeks, they're only about half grown. Now if only the rain would stay away so I can build the run and a real person door. Right now its just a sheet of plywood I have to unscrew and rehang each time I go in there. I just had to get them out of the brooder - they were way too big to be in there still.

I'm probably gonna come too. I can't miss out on the opportunity to bring a few more feathery friends home

That looks great! And you would really enjoy ChickenStock! You meet all kinds of people and see all kinds of chickens, turkeys, peacocks, honey...etc!!! Hope to see you there!

Mary--what is the difference between creamed and raw honey?

EggieRowe you should just go ahead and start on a second coop!! My babies are about the same age and they need to be out of the brooder too. At least I have a run that they can go in during the day!

Sam came over to help build me a second coop and keeps talking about this imaginary third coop that I need!! She is so wonderful to help out!!!
