Just hatched some baby silkies for the first time they oh so cute and I got 5 more due to hatch Tuesday I crossing my fingers lol they kids love them

I believe that these two hens laid the majority of the eggs that I'm incubating, as these are the girls that spend the most time in the nest box. If the chicks come out looking anything like their beautiful mothers (or their very young father, he's about 5ish months), I'll be very happy. So very excited to maybe have some more black-skinned fluffy babies again soon!

They are beautiful! I love the look of the silkies but I have all large fowl and not sure how they would do with the little silkies out in the yard.

You can call him calico if you like. He has 3 colors so that aptly describes that color but he looks to be a cross between a Columbian and wheaten.

Idk really what he was that was my best guess I just thought he was handsome and a real sweet heart but I no there so many colors of cochins out there seems like someone coming up with a new color every week
