South Carolina

I will be moving to SC later this year - from OK - and am wondering about what predators I should expect there. I have ducks and chickens. Here we have to deal with bobcats, snapping turtles, coyotes, raccoons, and feral dogs. I'll be in the greater Columbia area (probably Lexington area or near there). What should we expect? Thanks.
I am in the Irmo area of Columbia, Lexington County, and will be glad to have some company in this neck of the woods. Let me know when you move, or if I can help in any way. I have yet to get my first chicken but have a coop and am almost ready to launch with 4 pullets.

Hi :) I am looking to buy a few laying hens or started pullets from a healthy NPIP certified flock that do not have a history of disease and are not given antibiotics. Sorry to be so picky but I have had a bad experience with getting chickens who had "colds" (now I know that chickens do not get colds) and I had to cull my entire flock :(

I am moving to the upstate the beginning of April. Please PM me if you have any available. I really like breeds that have something unique about them (Ameraucana, Marans, Brahmas, EE to name a few) but will take some good egg layers if that is all that's available.
Thank you!

OK I've been told My Silkie was a BOY then a Girl.......Well it's way older than 6months old and I need to know is it a BOY or a Girl!!

I say Girl...after looking at other peeps roosters...it just doesn't look like them.

Looks like a pretty pullet to me

My cockerels had obvious streamers and comb development way before 6 months. I think these pics were around 4 or 5 months.
