Darth Molly! Cool name!

And they are adorable chicks but more gorgeous when grown.
Someone offered on my SLW roo so he will be going soon. I hate to sell him, he is really nice but all I really wanted was to create more chicks for the laying flock. I have some eggs in the bator so maybe one of his sons will stay. Meanwhile, I can sure use an extra pen to grow up all these roos for the freezer.

Yup, Butler is a piggie I named....I guess because he is really supposed to be mine. His dad was Jeeter and his mom was Beatrice and all I could think of was a fancy English manor with those names so I call him Butler. It was better than Chauffeur.

I did not own his parents. He came with a pedigree and I named him from that.

So, I have been wondering why my eggs production is down!

So, I give the coop a good clean out, only finding 3 girls and the roo outside. I think the 4th is behind their little "sleep house" so I look and no sign. I close the coop door and find her sat behind the door on 21 eggs!

Now I know where to look.............

21 eggs in total she'd been hiding.

My heavens - what has gotten into this dog? He seems to have gone wild. I'm so sorry about your roo. I happen to have an extra silver laced wyandotte rooster if you decide you want to replace him before your eggs hatch. (After you catch this dog)
