They don't have it at the TSC here. I didn't realize I needed liquid and bought the tablets which are now just sitting there. Maybe I can use it on the livestock someday!

Susanne, crush the tablets up with the back of a spoon on a paper plate or something and pour it into the water and stir well. That should do it.

I don't know what to tell you. We lost about 35 hens to our hawk this summer when they were free ranging. I have had to put everything in covered runs or they would be picked off one at a time. Once the hawk knows food is there, I'm not sure how to get rid of it. You cannot kill them. It's against the law. That hawk still sits in the tree by my coops just hoping he'll find a chicken on its own. It's horrible. He even got both of my guineas. They are horrible chicken predators.

I did read that songbirds are good at chasing hawks away. If you come up with something else, I'd love to hear it! I have 30 guinea keets and don't know what to do with them since the hawk is determined to get them. I wanted the guineas for bug control which is pointless locked up in a run!

First of all, Farmer John, that is NOT what I pictured you looking like! My website is through Small Farm Central. I've been happy with them. Their software is very easy to use. Although it is not cheap. You could do something through Wordpress for free except the hosting and it's a lot less than SFC. I think you've got a good start on it.

Thanks! How would you know the amount to use on chickens?

If you knew about wordpress why did you choose not to use them?

I thought you were older. I don't know why though! I have several sites with Wordpress. But you have to build them from scratch and I didn't have time when I put up my site. So I decided to go with SFC. I'm giving it a year and if I'm not making enough on sales through it to justify the monthly cost, I'll probably switch. I really just wanted something easy to use and already designed. And they do offer that.
