I love the photo of the white dress hem and shoes. Darling!
It does take a lot of time, eh?

I so need to add more pages and photos to my website. DH has been after me to work on it but while the weather is nice I am building the winter coops and trying to get the tarps straightened out.

Pink, that looks more like he was fussing through a fence or a hen set him to rights. It doesn't look like pox to me. However, I am not an expert on it since mine had it once several....I think 5....years ago.

Midas will be out there peeing all over your fence up and down the line to let those nasty big "dogs" know he is on patrol!

My keets are about ready for the wire bottom cage. they grow so darned fast and are such wild youngins! The two out with the parents are still doing great. Guinea boy coops up with the chickens at night and Guinea girl goes into the trees and the keets hunker down in a hollow stump under her.

On an exciting note my buff dundotte Guinea told me she was a girl yesterday!

I know I have several lavs that are girls and a Pearl but am super excited about the dundotte!
I call them my "goonies" when I feed them and they come close to me for food and know the word goonies!

Does anyone need an Araucana rooster? He's rumpless and a gold color. Not sure of Araucana colors. I bought the hatching eggs from Sky Blue Egg and hatched out him and a beautiful ear-tufted girl. Unfortunately the hawk got my girl and I don't really need this guy. I couldn't remember if anyone is breeding Araucanas.

No kidding. Not enough time in the day for web work and actual chicken work. I'm currently trying to figure out Twitter. Apparently I have to according to many people. Ugh.

I've had four lavender silkies hatch out today. I haven't had a black one since I got rid of the black roos. I have three black girls in there and I KNOW one is laying. I'm hoping they carry the lavender gene. So I have three lav boys, 8 lav girls and 3 black split girls. I feel like hogging my lav chicks though. Not sure I ever want to part with them. But that's not logical, is it? How many do I need? (Isn't this where we all go awry?)
