Oh how beautiful! I'm jealous
My son is taking riding lessons and begging for a horse.
She has a Tri color Paint that is a year old also...even prettier...very small adoption fee( these came from a foster for equine dream rescues...they had been seized by animal control from another rescue and were in bad shape but are looking much better!) She is NOT broke but is used to being handled and will make a GREAT horse with some time and love...and training. I have some horse experience so you may want to check into that side of things if you are interested. PM me for more info and I can prob email a pic.
She is totally gorgeous! You are so lucky to have gotten her and she has gotten a great family.
In another year she won;t look the same. You will have her so big and filled out she will be even more awesome to look at. I think she looks like she is easy to handle so breaking her in another year or so won't be any problem. I did that for eons and had a long waiting list since I used extreme gentle training and people could barrel race their horses with snaffle bits when I was through. I rode my personal dressage horse without a bridle at all.
You are so lucky to have such a beauty and I can tell your DD is already in love.
Your turn, Joy! I know your DS would love his own horse!
