It was over 5'. I relocate him, but he keeps coming back. My patience is running out with him.

I'm sooo jealous of your beautiful Peas!!!!I think a lot of you visit my FB page but if not I will share some recent photos with you!
You are far braver than I! Every time I go in my coop I am terrified that I will see one... luckily have not yet. But My hubby will be collecting eggs from that day forward if I ever find one in there!!It was over 5'. I relocate him, but he keeps coming back. My patience is running out with him.

I'd come take him off your hands, but my BF would have a fit! He appreciates snakes provide a service, but still doesn't like them. The stupid production manager, who quit last fall - THANK GOODNESS! - killed the nearly 7 ft black snake we had in the shop. Actually, he didn't have the nerve to kill it, he ordered the guys in the shop to kill it. It had been here for years and kept the mice under control. At worst, I would have one to trap in the winter with him on the prowl. This winter we caught about a dozen mice in the office, not counting the one I caught just last week. And now we're seeing copperheads when we didn't have them before. If that idiot still worked here I probably would have put all the dead mice on or in his desk everyday.
If you take the rooster out and put him back in he will be worse. Trust me. As long as he's not killing her I thnk he will calm down in a few days. She will get her feathers back maybe. LOL That's I won't keep roosters with hens any more. Except for breeding.Hey guys, I need some advice. One of my hens went broody, hatched a batch of chicks for me and now I'm trying to put her back with the flock. But the rooster won't leave her alone... apparently he really really missed her. I've had her in a separate pen sharing a fence w the rest of the chickens for about 10 days and the roo calmed down some, so I let her choose if she wanted to come out. They did OK for a while so I left her with the flock but when I returned, she was missing the feathers on the back of her neck and the area was bloody. So back in the pen she went. Maybe I should put the rooster in there instead! He's never been amorous to the point of baldness before and I'm not sure what to do.
My roo had a favorite, but after she lost the feathers on her neck and rump, he moved on. Guessing not enough traction at that point. If she's bloody, I'd separate her before the hens get after her. Maybe get her a saddle?Hey guys, I need some advice. One of my hens went broody, hatched a batch of chicks for me and now I'm trying to put her back with the flock.
