I am in Easley. My girls are about a month old. My first chicks. They came from Tractor Supply. They are going outside this weekend.

I've got a small coop 4'X8' that has an enclosed nesting area and screened in porch. I'm going to put them there and back the 3'X8' tractor to it so they have plenty of playing room until I can get the other enclosure built.Right now everyone's in a huge box in the kitchen. I've not ever had more than 6 chicks in the house at a time and am amazed at how much dust 16 generate. We all have suffered from sneezing and coughing and eye irritation and I'll be glad to get the kitchen back.

I had a heat lamp at night but by now you should be fine putting them out without one

You could move them. I've moved mine outside already too.

How old are your chicks? Mine were born 5 weeks ago.

Mine are also 5 weeks old, but I always move mine out by 2 or 3 weeks depending on the weather. I can't stand having chickens in the house!

ISO blue laced red Wyandotte hatching eggs. Willing to travel to Greenville otherwise no more than an hour from Florence. Need is not immediate, probably late summer. Broody hen is currently busy with another clutch. Prefer show quality parents.

Did some major downsizing when we bought a house in Powdersville. I have Americana Barred Rock and white leghorn right now. I went from 300 chickens to 10... If I can find someone close with some land I would like to get up where I was at before....
