Nice looking roo!

But I have 4 Ameraucana roos I need to rehome already! They're eating me out of house and home.

Countrypreacher, as soon as possible ! I have chickens of all ages and sizes that I could bring. Just make sure it is 4 or 5 weeks out so I can get off at work. I am looking forward to meeting more BYC members !

Countrypreacher had a swap at his feed store in Honea Path, SC last fall. We had a good time, swapped some chickens with each other and sold some chickens. It was just good to stand around and talk to other "crazy chicken people".

DH lost his job the other week so I have been selling out a lot of my chickens. Really just my specialty breeds. I still have a lot of bantam Cochins left. I won't sell out of my laying flock because they can free range and get plenty to eat with a bit of food I offer at night and I am keeping some of the breeds but I think I have sold all my Araucanas, Barnevelders, wheaten Marans and maybe my Wellies. I am sure I will be putting a lot of roos in the freezer to supplement our grocery bill more.
