September 25th is out next chicken swap here in the sc upstate!!!!!! It will also be the community yard sale at my store.

Mark it on your calendars and go ahead and start talking it up....

Time: People will start setting up yard sale stuff early, maybe 7ish. The store usually doesnt open till 9 but we will open early that day and will have some breakfast for sale.

You will find some good deals on feed and chicken supplies also....

Hi everyone,

Just had to tell you all that my daughter and I went to Wadmalaw Island yesterday and picked up three of the cutest Seramas from Juliette (PixieChicks). They are just darling and so were Juliet and her son Eric. Here are some photos of the new "babies" though they are really grown up.

I've never been to a chicken swap, so I'm curious how it works. Say I've got a chicken I want to re-home - do I need to register? I can't wait! Wonder how many I'll end up bringing home, haha!
