South Carolina

Well, all we got was a heckuva thunderlightning show and a short rain --- sounded like most of it went up your way, John.
He's pretty handsome!
There is a livestock auction over at Springfield, SC every couple of weeks.

Yeah it was a quick one Lisa. Lot of thunder and lightening, rained for maybe 30 mins and that was it. Just had a 5 minute shower and back to clouds.

Thanks. He is a pretty boy.

Weather for ducks over here in Laurens County. Its been raining hard on and off all day. We need it to get the grass growing but I dont need the bigger and better holes the ducks are making. Ill fall and trip down one of those craters one day

Well, pee-doodle! It started up again and has rained and rained and got very windy.
One of the neighbor-kids came up and told me there was a duck down by the dumpster, yes, it's one of my Muscovy girls out for a wander (they are being bad about staying in their pen, again --- they climb / claw their way up and over the fence now).

If you want to go to Shelby NC, there is one I think on Thurs at a huge livestock auction barn off hwy 18

Well, it has rained every minute of the day here in my little corner of the world. Nobody is very happy except the ducks. My son was supposed to have his birthday party at the zoo...postponed til tomorrow and that's not looking too promising. I had to feed in the rain, then came thunderstorms. Mud, mud everywhere ....

When you come to my house you are about 4 miles from this one. Remember me telling you about the Blue Ridge Feed store? Tootertown is there, right on Hwy 14. I have heard good prices being gotten for chickens there but I don't go. I won't sell at these places and I certainly would never buy from them. Did that years ago with horses and hated it.
