Just my opinion:

Just because the cages are homemade and old does not make them any less useful to someone. They would still have a market.
Perhaps some are large enough for rabbits?

But, of course, they are yours to use as you please.

It was just a suggestion.

I have a lady in Columbia SC looking for about 6 dz UNfertilized eggs to eat during passover. She was willing to come get them from me but with all my roos there isn't an untouched hen on my place! LOL
Anyhoo, her name is Amy, too and she would like to get them April 17 or so. She really doesn't want to buy from a grocery because the eggs come from battery chickens. She would feel better buying from a local person.

Anyone???

It is a good idea. They aren't in any kind of shape to sell, even for $5 a piece. Or at least not without feeling like I was ripping someone off. .they were headed for the scrap yard.

Are they portable? I could really use some carriers to tote chickens to shows and back and forth from the farm to the house. I use a cat carrier now. I'll pay! With chickens....

Just kidding. Actual money. I don't care if they're fancy. I just need a few functional ones.

Not really portable maybe 2 ft tall 3 ft wide and 4 ft long?? I wont be getting them for another week and a half, but I'll get pictures-I just remember them looking rather ragged-they are 15 or so years old.
