Pink,

The swap is from 9am-until. On the Fall Bi-Annual Palmetto Poultry Party thread, we also plan to have a mini-show with prizes and a raffle/door prizes are in the works as well. I'm waiting to get the flyer from Betsy ( I guess she got busy at work and forgot to email it to me yesterday). We would love to have as many as possible. There will be plenty to buy, swap, & see. Hatching eggs, chicks, juvies, POL pullets, adults (singles & pairs).

HOPE TO SEE YOU THERE!!!

Amy, If you find you have eggs to send, Lou Ann and I could take them to the swap. I'm not far from you since I'm in Greenville and I'm off on Friday before the swap and could pick them up. Just let me know next week if you have any to send.

I'm really excited. I've never been to something involving chickens. Haha. So far I am bringing possibly 2 roosters if I can bring myself to part with them. And I have ringneck doves that will be coming along who need a home.

Already planning to bring home silkies and eggs. I wonder what else I can convince my husband on...

Lou Ann and I are going to the swap, but we have no eggs to bring. We still have young ones starting out. We may have an Americauna rooster, that is if we figure out for sure he is a rooster before then. I'm going to get some new pictures of the two Americaunas together in the next couple of days and see what everyone thinks. Lou Ann could probably get by with a rooster, but she really wants to keep her neighbors happy and not take any chances. We thought the swap would be fun, even if we aren't swapping. Its a good way to meet the people on here and see lots of chickens.

OK, where is the swap? Did I miss that somewhere?

It's the swap I told you about a while back in Irmo, SC- in the middle of the state. It's not a bad drive for us, and I would have to be drivin' and drinkin' my coffee 'cause I'd have to get up early

Hey ya'll,

We've got a new grocery store/cafe going up on the Swamp Rabbit Trail in Greenville that only sourcing local products and they're looking for more egg wholesalers! My 2 dozen a week ain't gonna cut it, so if you've got your wholesales/retail egg licensce (SP) and are interested in selling more eggs, PM me and I'll pass along their information.
