twins, separated at birth?

I see a prime time reunion TV show in the making! Sisters... separated at birth who never knew about the other one. And then, one day.... they both joined the SC thread on Back yard chickens. Nature or Nurture?

So your leghorns lay BROWN eggs? Because everything I've read says they should lay large, white eggs (and mine do). I've been told there is a strain that lays brown eggs but haven't been able to find them. I might have to get some from you. If I'd known my own chicks would start laying brown eggs I would have kept them.

LOL NO!!!

I meant to say "I've never had a color egg other than white." Sorry, I had brown on the brain....

Hi Lroach711, I've tried the PM thing twice and get a "PAGE NOT FOUND" message. Maybe I don't have enough post yet. Anyway just as well. I'm head to Atlanta for some work this weekend and will not be back until later next week. Go ahead an work out a deal with someone else if you can. I don't have a seperate pen that's predator safe anyway. We had a coyote in the yard two nights ago. It was after a cat I think but was only about 15 yards from the house. I need to build a seperate holding pen for to quaratine new birds and figure out how to introduce a new bird to the flock

before I get another.

Let me know if you want him in the future..he may still be around. I'm having a heck of a time finding these roos homes! (oh and just to clarify...the chickens I'm having trouble with intestinal parasites (my "tractor chickens") don't include him! Just want to make sure everyone knows I'd never try to sell a bird that had something wrong with it )

I was 7 lbs 11 oz when I was born.

Phew. Okay. It was getting eerily similar. I weighed a lot less at birth so we are all good.
